TESTIMONY:

The group people felt happiness for getting this new hand pump water well. They all gave their sincere appreciation to Life Outreach International and Wells of Hope team.

The first picture shows an open hole they used to get water from. The new water well provided by Life Outreach International is in background to the left of the first picture.

Take notice of the lady drawing water from the old open hole well. What do you see? First you see a frayed rope, that is about to break. Second, you see a bucket. So what? This picture is a great example of contamination and the cause of water borne diseases to all the village people. Why? Many reasons, and just a few are: dirty rope(s) used by many, dirt bucket(s) use by many, open hole where rodents and animals can fall into and contaminate the open hole well, ropes breaking and leaving buckets and contaminated rope in the well, the possibility of a child playing around the well and falling in and drowning. Just use your imagination, when there is extraordinarily little health and hygiene taught, the village people have many adverse health problems. Thanks to Life Outreach International for providing this new water well, as the village people health will now change for the better. The new well was dedicated to the village people in the name of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
