We want to take this time to thank you Life Outreach International for this new water well. We have a lunch program for the elderly folks where we serve food. We have been working with our elderly for about 15 years, In the past 5 years we have had lots of problems with the water the city water utterly is not enough for us to wash dishes or clean the area. We serve about 85 to 90 plates Every time we open the kitchen, we serve a hot plate and will also send a bag of beans and bag of rice. Most of them live alone as we live in the border and their family move on either to the States or another state here in Mexico. They stay here alone a lot of them walk from far away just to get their food we also take time to teach them the word of God and we have had some come to Christ. It’s hard to see how they struggle just to get food on the table some of them are disabled. Some of them are sick and some don’t even have a place to stay. This program has some open space or a place for them to come and eat a home cook meal and also to take the beans and rice so they can have something to eat the rest of the week. Everyone that works in this kitchen are relativities and are volunteers, but not having water makes it impossible. We are so blessed and so happy that the water that came out was very clean and not salty. This really makes things so much easier. I want to take this time to thank you and to tell you that this will be a blessing to us and our neighbors. Around us as right now no one is getting enough water. We were struggling to get enough water to do the basic cleaning and washing. We were so sad that during covid we lost lots of our elderly friends not having water. We had to close, but now we are open and once again serving food . Many of them come and asked for prayers so we also take time to pray with them. Again, thank you Life Outreach International, and God-bless you and everyone that contributes to this ministry.
